ISO/TC 188/WG 10 - Electrical equipment

ISO 13297:2014 specifies the requirements for the design, construction and installation of low-voltage alternating current electrical systems which operate at nominal voltages of less than 250 V single phase on small craft of hull length up to 24 m. Additional information to be included in the owner's manual is listed.

ISO 10133:2012 establishes the requirements for the design, construction and installation of extra-low-voltage direct current (d.c.) electrical systems which operate at nominal potentials of 50 V d.c. or less on small craft of hull length up to 24 m. Conductors that are part of an outboard engine assembly and that do not extend beyond the outboard engine manufacturer's supplied cowling are not included. Additional information to be included in the owner's manual is listed in an annex.

ISO 8849:2003 specifies requirements for electrically operated direct-current bilge pumps intended for use in removing bilge water from small craft with a hull length up to 24 m. It applies to electrically operated bilge pumps rated for less than 50 V direct current (d.c.). It does not cover pumps intended for damage control.

ISO 10134:2003 establishes guidelines for the design, construction and installation of lightning-protection systems fitted on small craft of hull length up to 24 m.

Establishes the requirements for the design, construction, materials and installation of lightning protection equipment when fitted on small craft of less than 24 m length of metal hull or non-metallic hull.

Specifies requirements and describes test methods for measuring the airflow of fans intended for use in engine compartments and similar spaces. Applies to fans rated for less than 50 V (d.c.).

Specifies requirements for electrically operated pumps intended for use in removing bilge-water from small craft. Applies to electrically operated bilge-pumps rated for less than 50 V d.c.
