Cranes - Offshore cranes - Part 1: General-purpose offshore cranes
This European Standard specifies the requirements for general-purpose offshore cranes including their supporting pedestals or structures.
The standard is applicable to general-purpose offshore cranes covered by the scope of this European Standard which are manufactured after the date of its publication as EN.
This European Standard is not applicable to general-purpose offshore cranes which are manufactured before the date of its publication as an EN.
This European Standard does not cover use of - or hazards relating to the following:
a) fabrication, transportation, assembly, dismantling, disabling, scrapping or changing the configuration of the crane;
b) lifting accessories, i.e. any item between the hook and the load;
c) minimum design temperature below −20 °C;
d) operations at an ambient temperature above 45 °C;
NOTE: For equipment designed for operation in explosive atmospheres, the normal ambient temperature range is −20 °C to +40 °C, unless otherwise specified and marked. See Annex O and relevant standards indicated for complete information.
e) lifting operations involving more than one crane;
f) accidental loads due to collisions;
g) hand powered cranes and other cranes with a rated capacity less than 2 t or outreach less than 8 m;
h) emergency rescue operations; (except training)
i) subsea lifting operations.
The significant hazards covered by this European standard are identified in Clause 4.
This European Standard includes requirements for the lifting of personnel by a general-purpose offshore crane.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Offshore-Krane für allgemeine Verwendung einschließlich deren unterstützenden Tragsäulen und Fundamentstrukturen fest.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für die im Anwendungsbereich behandelten Offshore-Krane für allgemeine Verwendung, die nach dem Veröffentlichungsdatum dieser Europäische Norm als EN hergestellt wurden.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Offshore-Krane für allgemeine Verwendung, die vor dem Veröffentlichungsdatum dieser Norm als EN hergestellt wurden.
Diese Europäische Norm behandelt nicht die von den unten angeführten Einsatzarten ausgehenden Gefährdungen und Verwendungen
a) Herstellung, Transport, Montage, Demontage, Unbrauchbarmachung, Verschrottung oder Rüstzustands-änderung des Krans;
b) Lastaufnahmemittel, d. h. alle Teile zwischen dem Haken und der Last;
c) Mindest-Entwurfstemperatur unter −20 °C;
d) Betrieb bei einer Umgebungstemperatur über 45 °C;
ANMERKUNG Für Ausrüstungen, die für den Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen ausgelegt sind, beträgt der Normalbereich der Umgebungstemperatur −20 °C bis +40 °C, es sei denn, es wurden andere Werte festgelegt und auf der Ausrüstung angegeben. Siehe Anhang O und die angegebenen einschlägigen Normen für vollständige Informationen.
e) Hebearbeiten mit mehr als einem beteiligten Kran;
f) unbeabsichtigte Lasten aufgrund von Kollisionen;
g) handbetriebene Krane und sonstige Krane mit einer Tragfähigkeit von weniger als 2 t oder einer Ausladung von weniger als 8 m;
h) Rettungsmaßnahmen in Notfällen (ausgenommen Training);
i) Unterwasser-Hebearbeiten.
Die durch diese Europäische Norm erfassten signifikanten Gefährdungen sind in Abschnitt 4 identifiziert.
Diese Europäische Norm enthält Anforderungen an das Heben von Personal durch einen Offshore-Kran für allgemeine Verwendung.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions relatives aux grues off-shore d'usage général, y compris leurs socles ou structures d'appui.
La norme s'applique aux grues off-shore d'usage général couvertes par le domaine d'application de la présente Norme européenne et construites après sa date de publication en tant que Norme européenne.
La présente Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux grues off-shore d'usage général construites avant sa date de publication en tant que Norme européenne.
La présente Norme européenne ne couvre pas les phénomènes dangereux engendrés par les opérations suivantes ou l'utilisation des éléments suivants :
a) la fabrication, le transport, le montage, le démontage, la mise hors service, la mise au rebut ou la modification de configuration de la grue ;
b) les accessoires de levage, c'est-à-dire tout élément entre le crochet et la charge ;
c) les températures minimales de calcul inférieures à – 20 °C ;
d) les opérations effectuées à une température ambiante supérieure à 45 °C ;
NOTE Pour un équipement conçu pour fonctionner dans des atmosphères explosives, la plage de température ambiante normale est comprise entre – 20 °C et + 40 °C, sauf spécification et marquage contraires. Pour de plus amples informations, voir l’Annexe O et les normes pertinentes indiquées.
e) les opérations de levage impliquant plus d'un appareil de levage à charge suspendue ;
f) les charges accidentelles dues à des collisions ;
g) les grues manuelles et autres appareils de levage à charge suspendue ayant une charge nominale inférieure à 2 t ou une portée inférieure à 8 m ;
h) les opérations de sauvetage (hors entraînement) ;
i) les opérations de levage sous-marines.
Les phénomènes dangereux significatifs couverts par la présente Norme européenne sont identifiés à l'Article 4.
La présente Norme européenne couvre les prescriptions relatives au levage de personnel par une grue off-shore d'usage général.
